Kinesis for Organisations
A clearer, more explainable way to read your disclosures
We've rebuilt the disclosure experience in Kinesis for Organisations. Every disclosure now opens into a structured, navigable view — a headline summary, trends over time, a page per scope, an activity overview, and, importantly, two new pages that answer the questions auditors and boards ask most: how much of this is evidence-backed? and where did each number come from?
The new experience is opt-in. Next time you open a disclosure you'll see a banner inviting you to try it — Switch now takes you across, and you can switch back to the old layout whenever you like.
See the whole disclosure at a glance
The Headline page gives you the full picture in one view: total emissions, the split across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, with Scope 3 broken down by category directly on the summary. Offsets appear as their own line rather than being buried in a total, so net emissions are unambiguous.
Know how much of your disclosure is measured
The new Disclosure health page shows the share of a period's emissions carried by actual data versus projection, with the estimated portion called out separately. In the example below, 70.7% of emissions are backed by actual data and 29.3% are projected, with 4.3% gap-filled from surrounding readings. A boundary cross-tab underneath shows how that data quality is distributed across your business units and regions, so you can see exactly where confidence is strong and where estimates are doing the work.
Track how emissions move over time
The Trends page leads with net emissions for the current period and how they've changed against the previous one (down 29.8% for University of Kinesis), followed by an emissions-by-period chart. It's the fastest way to see the direction of travel and explain it.
Drill into any scope
Each scope has its own page. Scope 3 lays out every category and the activities beneath it — purchased goods and services, fuel and energy, waste, business travel — each with its share of the scope and its absolute figure, so you can trace a category down to the activities driving it.
Show your working
The Methodology page lists every emission factor behind the disclosure: the activity and measure, the unit, the per-scope factor values, the date each factor applies from, and its source — linked, so anyone reviewing the disclosure can follow a number straight back to the published factor it came from.
More consistent, accessible charts
We reworked the chart palette across the disclosure experience to be colour-blind-safe, and unified scope colours so the same scope always looks the same wherever you see it. Offsets are now shown in amber.
How to try it
Open Disclose and select any disclosure (or create a new one).
A banner at the top invites you to try the new layout — select Switch now to move across.
Use the left sidebar to move between Headline, Trends, Scope 1/2/3, Activity overview and Methodology, and open the Health view to see your actual-vs-estimated share.
Prefer the old layout? Use Switch back in the banner at any time — nothing is locked in, and you can come back whenever you're ready.
When you're ready to share, Export as ZIP now bundles a formatted PDF report and workbook, both including data coverage and the measurement basis behind each figure.
