Creating and viewing waterfall strategy reports

The Strategy section allows users to create custom strategy reports. Users can add their own baselines and policies to be displayed as a waterfall chart.

Navigate to Strategy β†’ Configure to get started:

Use the buttons to add baselines and policies. The chart will be displayed when there is at least one valid baseline and one valid policy.

A new baseline or policy requires the following inputs:

  • Name is a high-level description which will be shown on the waterfall chart.

  • Value is the value (in the units specified in the Configure section) for the baseline or policy. Use negative numbers for policies to show reductions.

  • Notes provide additional detail, such as modelling assumptions, and will show up in the table, as well as when a user hovers over the waterfall chart.

An Outcome is automatically calculated from the values of the right-most baseline and the combined policies. The name, value and notes of this Outcome can be customised, in which case a Deficit is automatically created and added to the report. The name and notes of this column (but not the value) can also be customised.

Setting Benchmarks

Benchmarks can also be added to the report, and will be displayed on the chart.

Saving and Viewing Reports

To save your report for future use, add a Name, Title and optional Unit in the corresponding fields. Choose the desired Sharing Option - note that for reports to be visible on the Dashboard, this must be set to Visible to all users. Finally, click Save Report.
